Friday Bitches!

Yes, oh my god, it's Friday and I feel fine. I am sorry that my posts have been so bleak. Recently, a friend commented to me that reading my blog is like reading my diary. Should I stop with the all-too-personal blogs? What do you think?

I guess I just have some angst going on now and that's what comes out. Lately, any funny stories are left by the wayside and taken over by the more serious pressing matters. I am hoping that will change. I have things in the works to make that change.

Yes, I'm damn happy it's Friday. I have had a tiring week. Not just with goings on but the whole freaking sleep thing. Extra tired this week. I want to tell the doctors to just give me my damn CPAP machine already! Yet I feel a stigma about it..... like it's a real loser ailment to have. It should be a secret. I guess it will just add to my geek street cred.

Attractive, isn't it. Oh, so sexy! I just stole that image off of somebody else's blog. I hope they don't mind. I was impatient in trying to find a picture of a woman with a CPAP...... Then I saw Barbie. How precious. It reminds me of the time I went to Provincetown and there was a house on the main drag in which the whole front yard was decorated with Barbies. Barbies doing all sorts of things; some of them questionable.

Ah, I found an image. I love the internet. (Please let every one know that I mean no harm when I steal these images. I just want to prove a point...... and pictures are fun.) I saw the Barbie house over ten years ago and if it's still there, the picture above only represents like 1/16 of what's displayed.

Writing about Provincetown reminds me of vacation. I will be going to San Francisco in a couple of weeks and I'm starting to get excited. I have only been there once with my girlfriend at the time. I took some video when we were there, but I haven't watched since we broke up and that was a long time ago. I have been thinking of watching it before I go. The only thing that I remember being on the tape for sure is the under water display on the pier. I don't remember the official name. But is was so cool. It was as if you were walking deep under water in a plastic tunnel and could see all the ocean life around you. It was actually in a shallow area. I also remember the very loud sea lions and the Pride parade that was so long that we couldn't sit through the whole thing. We decided that soon after the Dykes on Bikes we had seen enough.

A little while back I did an internet search on San Francisco and found a site that I thought was quite useful. A Local's Guide for People Visiting or Moving to San Francisco http://www.dreamworld.org/sfguide/ It's funny, but the author, as a native, disdains all the touristy things but the one of the things he liked was the under water tunnel. I'm not big on touristy things either. I just like to go to a place and have a good time. I don't have to see the big ball of string or anything. Though we did try to go to Alcatraz, but we missed the last boat and didn't have time to do it any other day. I was not heart broken. I bought a flattened penny that says Alcatraz instead.

On to maxing and relaxing. Wish me luck, I have a date tomorrow. And to my sister; I hope you feel better soon!!

I love San Fran! If I couldn't live in NYC (god forbid) that's the only other place in the US I can imagine myself. I'm actually going out there next month (for work, though). Have a great time!

I left my heart in San Fransico! I truly did! That is one of the best cities! It is the vibe or good feeling (cause it wasn't the grocery store prices I can tell you!) There are so many creative people and things going on! I felt like a part of a larger happy family who delight in doing good things for others and for the planet. If you get a chance to go, do!

And I am feeling better!! Thank you! I love you have a great time out there! I know you will!
